 love like dogs
My dog reminded me of what true unconditional love really looks like. We came home today and found that he had gotten into the trash again and drug it all through the house. He got a spanking for it and he ran and hid in his bed for a while but as soon as I went up the stairs he was right there at my feet jumping up at me to pet him, wagging his tale behind him. I thought about the commercials I ee about the dogs that get abused and think about how they too, even after they've been beaten, will still go to their owners if they called. Not that i beat my dog half to death. But the principle of unconditional love is there. Wow. It sounded better in my head. Lol maybe I wrote it wrong.
