The new year
HAPPY NEW YEAR YA'LL!!!
Although I must admit it doesn't fee like a new year yet.. No new years resolutions for me, I never stick to them anyway. My family thinks I should give up smoking as my new years resolutions though. All I have to say about that is yea right.. I already cut back. I know, I know.. It's a nasty and expensive habit to have, but come on.. I'm sure all you smokers out there will agree that a day without a smoke is a bad day for anyone around, especially if they plan on just irritating you all day. Now that's a no bueno.
anyhoo.. This is what I did for new years, incase you were wondering..
I spent new years eve day dragging boyfriend around the mall to find the perfect dress. (sidenote: I probably could've done with just dressing warm considering what we did but thanks boo for the dress!) After 4 hours and a million dresses I finally put on "the one". It came from BeBe. Originally $150 but I got on sale and after tax it came it $40 something. Not bad eh??
we then headed up to seattle to check in to our hotel, which it turns out was on fire about 45 minutes before nHwe checked it. but it was minor and we were able to get checked in ok. Then we met up with his friend and his friend's girlfriend only to find out you need to buy tickets in advance to all the really good night clubs.. but no biggie. we ended up just parking somewhere random in seattle and walked around for a good 10 minutes. I spotted a place that didn't have a line and sounded like they were playing some alright music. turned out it was a pho restaurant (pho is a vietnamese noodle soup if you were wondering) but they had a bar! and a dj and we save probably $80 worth of a cover charge. not to mention we didn't have to wait in the cold! I definately call that a score. we drank and danced in front of the dj booth. like i said i was originally a restaurant so they didnt have a designated dance floor. but after we started dancing other people got up and started dancing too. the restaurant people ended up moving some tables around to make space for an area to dance in.
the night went by quick and by the time we got to the hotel i was probably sloppy drunk. boyfriend says no, but the hangover in the morning says "yes bitch, you were that drunk" lol. I love hotel beds.. they're so comfy and i never want to wake up and lay in my own bed after that. but anyway.. that's my new years.. hope ya'll had a fun safe one.
BTW: if you did notice. i was trying really hard to type correctly. capitalize and use proper punctuation but after a while i got tired of having to backspace to correct myself.. lol
