as soon as i saw this video, i made sure that my grandson was not playing this game. of course this is a video game that is marketed toward kids calling them fat and telling them that they have no parents. video games have always been a corruption on america's values ever since the 80s...this video game is just another step backwards for this country.
when will it end america? when are you going to wake up and realize that we need to be teaching our children...not making them sit down and play some video game that teaches them that its ok to make fun of adopted children?
Hahaha there is so much I could say but I just...Can't quite find the right words. If you played the game, it's not teaching kids to make fun of that stuff. It's the humor of the game. Than again I don't think some people have much of a sense of humor anymore...
You HAVE the know the game to get the feel of it. I suppose if you've never played the game it could come off as offensive. The WHOLE game is full of sarcasm and lame jokes about stupid stuff. And the game was not making that joke directed at THAT little girl.
Parents need to man up and talk to their kids. Turn off the game if you think it's wrong and talk to them and tell them nothings wrong with being adopted all of that and than don't let the kid play the game. Seems like a simple solution to me.
And yes I think it's hilarious that people take this kind of stuff SO seriously.
I just think sometimes these people that go to the media just want their 15 minutes of fame. Like I said I'm sure the kids really won't take it to heart, after all, it's only a game. But I also think that with all the issues there have been with game/movie ratings, parents should watch the ratings more closely and do a lot more research before letting their kids play/see stuff. I understand parents can't review EVERYTHING, but that's the risk they take...And obviously the ratings don't help some parents since everyones idea of inapproproate is different.
I don't know what game you are talking about because I can't watch the video here, but honestly..I have to agree with part of what you are saying. A lot of parents today just don't care, and that's pretty sad. They subject their child to whatever shuts them up..some never consider the lasting effects something could have on their children because they are too absorbed being 'adults' to actually be parents.
..of all the games, you choose Portal 2 to insult? one of the most innocent games I have ever played. at least if you were going on about something like Call of Duty I'd understand.
also I thought America's first value was freedom? Nice way to express it...
