I think someone is stalking me! *HELP*

05/06/2010

Just kidding(:
But seriously i neeed you to answer this for homework.

Ok Trichatillamania is a hair pulling disorder. Not many people know about it, but it is common. they pull at wherever they have hair on their body. Soon, they start pulling the hair on their head, and it is probably hard for them to hide. There Self Likeness, is brought down once you get this.
So here is my Questions, please answer truthfully. ( i am doing a report and i need ot know what people think. I do not know anyone with this and i think it is a bit weird, but oh well.
Ok, My questions.
1. What do you think about this disease?
2. Would you go out with someone with this disease?
3. if oyu found out that your best friend had this, what would you do?

Thats it! Thanks for answering. you may leave addional comments if you want.

1. I've never heard of the disease and I don't know anyone with the disease but I'm honestly glad I don't hate it. I couldn't imagine pulling at my hair which is all over my body. I think it would drive me insane, and I'd want to die.

2. No I wouldn't go out with someone who had this disease. I wouldn't be able to stand watching them pull at their hair and I'd be afraid they would start pulling mine.

3. If my best friend found out that she had this disease, I would help her shave her entire body. I think for the sake of pulling your hair you'd just cut it all off so it wouldn't bother you. And I mean ALL YOUR HAIR. Toes, Legs, Arms, Face, Head, Privates. .

Good luck with your report. I'm gonna go look this up now!

1. one I have hard of this disease cause I studied psychology and had to take abnormal psych as a requirement. It's certainly an interesting disease. It fascinates me in a kind of morbid way knowing that it can be possibly treated.

2. I don't know if I would date someone with Trichatillamania. However, if I happened to date someone and they all of a sudden developed I'd most likely stick with them.

3. If I found out my best friend had this I would still stick with them. I'd do my best to find out more about the disease to get a close understanding of what they are going through. I only read about it in passing in ab. psych class. I would also do my best to guide them into getting the correct help that they need.

ok so I decided to answer your questions first . It's really no big deal, it gives me something to do. I only share my opinions if I am really for or against something or if it's a topic that I am well informed about.

Good luck on your report!
