OKay, so this my be a little bit of a rant...I am sorry. I have had a very horrible day!
It started off with an email that we got in the mail when i started at 5:30am. I will go into that later though. Calls are just coming in all day. I was already not in the mood and now I have to be happy to these stupid stupid people trying to book cruises...riiight. I felt very depressed all day and kinda like a big lump on a log. I really do love my job and I love being a personal cruise consultant.
My job wants us to do our best and tell them if we are having a problem. So, I have told them tume and time again that I infact am having a problem with notes and they see that. DO they help, no? I get pulled in the my supervisors office today....I got put on an action plan because I have not been doing things correctly and my notes are the biggest issue. So I have 15 days really to just fix it all. Now they are finally trying to help me but my jobs at steak. WTF?...so that my great end of my day.
Now.....
This morning.....
(1 week ago) Ken was being a dear friend to a person that he use to work with( not even a friend) He found someone who wanted to buy some jeans from him on craigslist. He was being very carefull and using Paypal as his way to get payment and what not. This guy does not have an account with paypal so ken said he would be the "middle man". I really did not like the idea but he was using paypal. Ken ended up paying for the shipment of the jeans that were nearly 300 bucks and was told by "paypal" that he need to put the tracking number in so that the money would process. We did all that and we got a notice saying that we would recieve the money in 72 hours. Well this morning I got to the office to check my mail. I see something from paypal saying we need to refund money...WTF?!?!??!?! I call ken up and asked him what was going on. Well, to not explain everything, we were scamed. The paypal information was all fake. we sent off jeans and we arnt getting money. So ken and I lost the price of the shipping which is all and I think we can report it to the bank as fraud and maybe get it back.
The big thing now is his friend. His friend is saying that this is partly our fault and we need to pay he some money. If I remember correctly we said we would let him USE our paypal accout. Yes, he was going to give us money for helping him out. Now we have LOST 50 buck(we don't have 50 bucks to loose)
So, please tell me.....Am I way off on my thinking that we are not at fault?
