So I live in a city. It's not a particularly large city, nor is it very small. That said, in the grading system of the pandemic, we currently sit at stage Yellow. So there are some restrictions, but not a lot. I want you to keep that in mind when I tell you that on the weekend, for whatever reason, some forty plus idiots went downtown to city hall to protest the lockdown. Uhhhh, excuse me? WHAT lockdown??? We're not currently experiencing one. Are these people from Toronto? If so, get the fuck out of here. Second, they're protesting masks, saying it's against their rights. No, it isn't. You have every right not to wear a mask. Just remember that businesses have every right to refuse service to you since they LEGALLY require masks be worn inside. AND as an immune compromised individual, I would take it as a kindness for you to keep your dumbass out of my place of work, thanks. I wear a mask and I'm technically exempt from it. Seriously. Grow up. If I am willing to risk having a face with a mask shaped hive on it, then you can wear a damn mask for the ten minutes it takes you to come in and get your prescriptions from us. We have to wear them for eight plus hours and you bitching about your rights just makes me want to punch you in the face. Asshole.
I've seen a few people on social media who are participating in fighting the "global reset" and frankly, what the actual fuck? They have signs that say things like "Fight the tyranny" and some other bullshit about masks taking away their rights. To this, I say: Grow up. You have too much time on your hands, and instead of finding solutions to the pandemic, you're creating more problems. Way to go! You're now part of the problem! Hundreds of morons flocking together, without masks, coughing on each other, and claiming they're fighting for everyones rights? Yeah, what you're doing is selfish, and ignorant. My mother with lung issues really appreciates you spreading covid around even more. She likes being trapped by shitty health. Me too. I enjoy strapping a mask on my face, knowing my body will decide its being attacked. I love it. Keep it up. Idiots.
