The rain fell slowly today. It hit skin where it could, cool to the touch, and washing away festive masks. Ghouls, skeletons, princesses, and unicorns troup down the sidewalks in teams. Their wide eyes and giggles warm even the coldest souls.
Halloween was a wash out. There was rain upon rain most of the day. I worked twice at my one play of employment. I'm not impressed.
