So people are having to postpone their weddings. I feel so bad for them. I know at least two friends who were supposed to get married this year. One of them was supposed to on her honeymoon right now but it turns out she's pregnant and obviously covid has gotten in the way. The other was supposed to get married in June and has postponed it to next June.
Now I don't feel so bad for setting our wedding date to 2022. Sheesh.
I'm on leave for two weeks right now. Which is just as well. I have a sore throat out of nowhere. What a delight. I've been productive so far. I completely cleaned out the fridge and cleaned it from top to bottom. I scrubbed the kitchen and bathroom as well. All the laundry has been taken care of for the week as well. I'm planning on organizing all of my books in the next few days as well. Oh....I also read three and a half books in three days. Yeah. So that happened. I'm still super exhausted from the stress, but at least I'm not exposing myself to the virus. So yay!
I decided to be braless the entire time I'm off. Because, I can. I keep wanting to go for a walk but the weather keeps disagreeing. The sky starts looking ominous, and then clouds open up and water comes rushing down, drenching the sidewalks. And don't get me started on the wind we've been experiencing. If I were interested in having my hair blown dry, I'd only have to go stand in my back yard and wait a minute or two.
Speaking of my wedding.....I've come to the conclusion that I enjoy both whimsical and classic themes. So, that's annoying. Is it possible to some how combine the two? We'll see I guess. I have the flowers figured out I think.
