Hello Bloop!

I haven't had an online journal in a long time because I generally prefer to keep most of my thoughts to myself. I decided I'd give this a try again since I do occasionally enjoy the company of like minded people. On the other hand I never really know what to say about myself in these kind of things so if you have any questions about me then ask. You'll get an answer although there may be times when the answer will be "It's none of your business" or "I'm not ready to talk about that to the general public yet".

A few things to get started with.

I've been happily (mostly) married for 13 years. We have no children, we tried for many years without success and fertility treatments didn't fit into our budget. We thought about adoption but again we're just not in a financial state to do that. It's not like we're so poor we can't have nice things there are just some things that are out of our financial reach.

I am Pagan but I follow no specific path I'm pretty much an Eclectic. For a long time I considered myself Wiccan but in the last few years I haven't felt that it was the path for me, plus I have never been initiated into a Wiccan Coven. I'll talk more about my path in a future entry.

I like to read books on many different subjects fictional and non-fictional. I write as a hobby though I really don't think I'm very good at it. It's just something I do for myself that makes me happy. I enjoy manga and anime and I'm slowly teaching myself to speak and read Japanese. One of my biggest dreams is to spend some time in Japan (It's at the top of my bucket list).
