One of the books I really like is "Bad Move" by Linwood Barclay. The book has a great sense of humor, something sadly lost in Barclay's later works. This is an upbeat fun book that makes me laugh.
I'm thrilled that Linwood Barclay continues to publish, but I'd like to see some of the same levity that we see in Bad Move. His later books are so dark by comparison.
The characters are quirky and interesting, yet very believable. I love the way this book draws me in. The book itself is mystery/suspense/thriller, yet there is plenty of humor there too. It's tightly plotted and moves at a great pace. I wish Linwood Barclay would make more books like this one!
