megan walks in on new years and tells me shes dating steve/quaker
i pretend its the best news i've ever heard, and all i can think about is, "did they sleep together yet" (yes).
nick calls and asks to come over after my dad throws a fit at how many people i invited over. i sneek in quake through the back and up the porch just so he could be all over megan in front of all of us
nick doesn't show because he was too jealous that i invited john over
nick called me 4 times to "talk" on new years.
rewind exactly one year on this night and remember me calling his voicemail and telling him "megan and i both have feelings for you...not asking you to chose since im your ex and megan's your best friend. anyways... happy new years".
rewind to him telling me he loved me and couldn't do this to megan.
rewind back to my heart ache.
go live and see me spending most of new years with him on the phone.
fast forward to the next day and see the two of us hang out.
and the next day we kissed for the first time after having feelings for each other for over 4 years.

we hung out with the group today and every moment we'd walk outside, nick would stride ahead so he had like 10 seconds alone with me before everyone turned the hallway corner, and try to tickle me or just rub my shoulders.
he asked for a kiss goodnight
i don't know what we are... i cannot stop thinking about him and he tells me he misses me all of the time.
he's loved me for so long... i've loved him for so long... i have never had a more passionate first kiss in my entire life.
