Man its been a couple weeks since I have written. Time gets away from me pretty easily these days.
It is supposed to be really nice here this week, high around 60 everyday. I am excited. I plan on getting the kids outside everyday! They have been cooped up in here for months it seems since we had so much snow and it has been so cold. The kids are good, growing like weeds!! Evan had his 9 month appointment the other day and he was 22 lbs 10 oz and 30.5" long. He is doing excellent with his milestones. He can wave, pull up, cruise on furniture, play peek-a-boo, and get into all sorts of trouble LOL. he is a trouble maker but when he is being bad he looks at you with the cutest sweetest little smile haha.
So far he is on the same growth curve as Brady was. at 9 months Brady was 22 lbs 8 oz and 31" long. My boys are just big! I think Brady went through a little growth spurt because he weights the same (35 lbs) but looks skinnier and his pants are looking a little short. I swear he grows so fast I can barely get through a season with his clothes and shoes! He is already wearing 4T I can't imagine that he is going to need a 5T in pants soon, he is only 2!! I can't wait until summer. I am so tired of having to bundle the kids up and being stuck inside! I am excited because this summer I want to do so much stuff with the boys. Last summer Evan was a newborn so we were kind of housebound. This summer is going to be so much more fun as far as being able to take the boys places and do more activities. I want to get the boys either a sand table to a water table this summer also. My mom has a san table and Brady LOVES it, he will stand there for an hour playing with it, but I am not sure if Evan will be too young for one so I am thinking maybe a water table this summer.
Oh also our playroom is almost done!! All we need is carpet and to paint the doors. I am so excited! It has beena construction zone down there since AUGUST!! I can't wait to have toy disaster out of my living room. It is so beautiful down there I love it. Aaron did such a good job I am so proud of him. He built these custom built in cabinets for the wall and we bought nice base cabinets for under them and got a countertop for on top of them. It looks so nice. I will have to take pictures soon.
Alright that is all for now. Need to get the kids dressed! |
