SO we had a pretty productive weekend. Mom and Pete kept the boys saturday night and I shampooed our living room carpet while Aaron grilled steaks (in the snow LOL) and made mashed potatos. We ate dinner then worked in the basement. Aaron sanded the walls in the bathroom down there and I caulked all the trim. Apparently caulking is my hidden tallent LOL I have never done it before and I did a great job, Even Aaron was really impressed haha. We got about 6 inches of snow this weekend. Now everything is a mess again. I really wish our HOA would plow our road a little better because it looks like crap right now.
So I don't think I mentioned this but we moved Evan out of the infant carseat and into Bradys old seat. I could not take carrying him in it anymore. My arm would go numb lol. He is about 23 lbs so hauling him around in it was not working lol. We were going to buy Brady the Graco Nautilus carseat when our tax money came in (we were using my moms extra seat until then) because he was close to outgrowing the ComfortSport (which Evan is now in). He is 35 lbs and the ComfortSport only goes to 40 lbs. WELL a friend of mine from work asked me the other day if I needed an extra carseat because they moved his son to a booster and he didnt need it anymore. I said sure that I would take it, thinking we could use it for Evan in Aarons truck. Well he brings it to me and its a Britax Marathon, which can harness children up to 65 lbs! I was so excited! So now we don't have to buy Brady a new seat! YAY! Saved us $150!
We got our state refund back the other day and payed off my Victorias Secret card, Capital one card, and Penn Foster. Now once we get our federal back we are paying off my Bank of America card and putting the rest towards our Chase card. we are in bad credit card debt and this is helping.
Alright thats all for now. |
