Wow its been a little while since I have written last! We have had alot going on around here. I am going to try to make this as short as possible because I don't have alot of time...
Last week the weather was so beautiful and we didn't get to enjoy it at all. Brady got the stomach flu in the middle of the night Monday and threw up most of the day on Tuesday. He didn't move off the couch all day. Then wednesday he was feeling better and was playing and stuff. He wouldn't eat anything and only drank maybe one cup of pedialyte. Wednesday night I was at work and around 8 started feeling sick. I wound up throwing up 4 times at work before I had a chance to leave. It was AWFUL. I was so busy and I felt like total shit and I was trying to get my tabs closed out and it was just a mess. Plus throwing up in a public restroom is no fun. I went home and threw up 6 more times overnight. Thursday I wasn't feeling sick anymore but I was so weak and sore from throwing up so much. That morning Brady started throwing up AGAIN. he got sick probably 5 more times. Still hadn't eaten or drank anything and had only peed twice in 3 days. He was white as a ghost and shaking. Aaron and I were freaked out so Aaron took him to the Urgent Care. To make a long story short he was extremely dehydrated and his blood sugar dropped to 62 (it should be 80) and he wouldnt keep anything they gave him down. He had to be hooked up to an IV. After being on the IV for two hours he still hadn't peed and was still throwing up so they said he needed to go to the hospital. They took him in an ambulance to the hospital where he was on an IV for another 4 hours. They gave him Zofran and pumped him full of fluids. He finally started coming around and talking around 11:30 and they sent us home at midnight. They gave us a prescription for Zofran. I was so stressed and felt so weak and sick I just wanted to lay down. Seeing him there in that hospital gown on an I was terrible. He looked so small and helpless. He lost 2 lbs from being sick. Thank God he is back to his old self again now. SO sickness took up pretty much our whole week.
We did manage to get the front and back yards cleaned up on saturday which was nice.
Tomorrow we are getting carpet installed in the playroom and it will be DONE!! I can't believe it! Aaron has been working on that room since AUGUST! I am so excited to be able to use it!
Other than that not alot else to update on here. Evan is doing good. Almost 10 months old! Time is going to fast! He is a little nut lol. He is always smiling.
We took the boys to the DC zoo on sunday and they had a good time. We had the Metro rides from hell though. It took forever to get there and back because they were doing track maintenance. Blah.
