Aa-aand Morgan got two booster shots. She had been so good, so agreeable. The Doctor did hear her tell me to sit down and almost had to leave the room before he laughed. And he said she was wonderfully behaved OUT LOUD. She didn't nap until 5:30, and I basically woke her up at 6:45, only to put her back to bed by 9. Morgan is so cute and cuddly.... I can't handle it. Anyway, we also ended up going grocery shopping, and I got her an Ernie that was on clearance because I'm a sucker. And a purple frilly skirt for $4 since she doesn't have any frilly anything since I'm not a frilly person, and she needs something slightly dressy for services and parties. OMG, her eyes lit up. "I'm a princess!" She wore that skirt all afternoon before Morgan decided it was "No Pants" day. But I'm not "queen." I'm Mommy.
I just deleted a mailer project I've been working on for a week for the synagogue. I'm gonna go cry. Granted, I have a recent good color copy, but still.
It was almost done.
We have Mitzvah Day coming this Sunday (literally "good deeds;" social action and helping the community). Next Sunday is the Purim Carnival. I love both, but I will be SO GLAD when it's all over. Organization and materials and donations have all been a cluster. There's been little to no communication. I know there are carnival volunteers, but I don't know if they're needed for games or food service or activities. I know I'm helping my boss do face painting. Sigh.
It's hard to type... I had to go outside to help for carpooling after Hebrew School, and it's rather chilly. My right eye is still watering. giggle
