I’ll be very happy when this 3D movie phase runs its course. I went to see the new Harry Potter film last night, I would estimate that a good hour of the film was filler added to wow the viewers of the 3D version. I enjoyed the movie okay but it wasn’t as good as the last one. I won’t put up any spoilers since I’m sure a lot of people are still planning to see it.
I’ve been out in the range most of the day at work, I had to test a muzzle device on a .338 Lapua Magnum. Just to compare, the .338 Lapua Magnum has roughly twice the muzzle energy of the .308 Winchester and roughly 40% more muzzle energy than a .300 Winchester magnum. Let me tell you, I’ve crashed the race car and not been hit any harder than that thing recoils! I wish someone would give me a back rub this evening, I could sure use one. |
