Yesterday I discovered that I had won a $200 Best Buy Gift card. I wasn't too sure what I should do with it, but Nico suggested I should get a Chromebook. I was thinking about something like an expensive mouse or joystick or maybe games. But honestly, I don't need a mouse, I would rarely use a joystick, and I have tons of games. So I got the Chromebook.
Nicki has bought one from Visions Electronics, but it hasn't shown up yet. So she tried to convince me that I should let her have mine, and I should wait for her's... so I'm starting to think she wanted me to get one so that she didn't have to wait. Now this is interesting to me because of the argument we had just the other day. Visions screwed up on her order and she should have had it about 3-4 days ago. I told her she should have made a fuss and gotten them to compensate her for the inconvenience, she said she didn't see the point, she's just happy she's going to be getting it eventually. She seemed to think that when I say "make a fuss" that I mean "freak out and cause a scene". during that argument, I was trying to explain that there is a chance that you could convince them to overnight it instead of sending it general low-cost courier. But I couldn't get to that part of my line of thought because I kept getting interrupted. Now, if I'm interrupted while I'm trying to lead up to something, I find it excessively frustrating, because it's very easy for me to lose my train of thought and I often have to backtrack to remember where I was trying to take it. Nicki gets pissed off because I repeat myself and interrupts me over and over because I'm repeating myself and doesn't want to hear it again, thinking I'm not listening to her. I get pissed off because I'm not allowed to complete my thought.
And now, here I am, with my chromebook, instant gratification style, and Nicki's was paid for a week ago and she still doesn't have her's. I kinda feel like a dick, because I wouldn't let her have this one... but it's mine, dammit. She should have made a fuss.
