My day kind of had a slow start to it. I started work at 10am, but mom (whom I work with) started at 9am, so I had to go in early with her. So, I sat there with one of my regulars and read my book for about an hour. Work was really slow today too, for a Sunday. Yesterday's table from Hell was back again today.... and guess who got stuck serving them!

Yesterday, I had this table of about 20 people come in. These people come in from time to time, so I wasn't exactly the most thrilled person in the world to be serving them because they are pretty rude. And, not only to their manners need to be worked on (especially when talking to their waitress) but they need to know how to control their children in public. In our dining room, we have a piano for show... they let their spawns bang on it and whatever. They also let their children reach out and hit our serving trays, when bringing drinks. That's not even the best... they, very rudely, tell us to bring them things... not ask. After busting my ass off to serve them and keep my cool... I made not even $10.00 off a table of 20. Once they left, I was to enraged, I took the piano, and moved it into the employee part of the restaurant.
They only had one child today, so it wasn't as horrible. They also made it pretty easy on me too. I also made well over $10.00 from them... so it was a little bit more worth it. Work was pretty uneventful otherwise.
After work, I came home and chilled out on my laptop. A guy I met through one of my friends on Thursday asked me to hangout, and seeing as I really wasn't doing a whole lot, I decided to give'r. And, besides, this boy is my musical soulmate.
We went to the lake, then drove around for a bit, and then back to his place so he could eat. After he ate his food, he drove me home. And basically, the whole ride home I definitely made a fool of myself, which was kind of nice because you could actually see him looking at me and smiling because of my goofiness.
I managed to score the next three days off, so I have no idea what I'm going to do with myself! But, until next time, much love.
