Money's gotten a bit tight with me not working since I hurt my foot....something about an unexpected two months off that really bites the pocketbook hard. woo. So, made the decision today to get rid of the home phone (I always have my cell phone anyways, so, what's it matter?) and the cable for the TV. I must say, I'm kinda digging it. The house is immensely quieter, and, it cuts about 100 a month off the bills. Niceee. We listen to the radio more then we watch TV anyways, and between Netflix & Hulu, who needs television? haha
Had the boyfriend here the last two nights, he actually just left about an hour ago. Wish he coulda stayed longer, but, ah well. He had to go pick up his check and pay bills. YAY adulthood! haha.
Made peanut butter cookies for a friend stationed in Kuwait, got em in the mail yesterday. I can't wait for him to get them, I know he's going to be stoked.
My nephew's first birthday party is on Sunday, and I don't think I'm going to be able to make it. Makes me sad. This damn not being able to drive thing fucking SUCKS ass. It is well timed I guess, due to some legal issues, but, STILL!!! Ugh! |
