A layout, finally!
Ohh, what a day. My darling oldest woke me up this morning with a very chipper "Mommy, I let Marley out of her cage!". Marley...is a three and a half foot Mojave Ball Python. STILL haven't found her. Quite nervous at this point! I know she's around here somewhere, but, I'm not sure where. Eek! And to make it all even more fun, just yesterday I got another snake, so I'm watching that tank like a hawk now - this one's tiny enough still that there's no way I'd find it. Marley's kinda hard to miss once you see her, but this one - is MAYBE 9 inches long? It just hatched last week...Motley Pastel Corn Snake, super cute. I told Alex it bites, in hopes of getting him to leave it alone. I can only cross my fingers that it works. He knows Marley is super friendly & easy going, so, Ughh! I don't know how he got the tank lid off. Grr! It's a double locking cage - apparently he pays more attention then I thought he does.
Planning a BBQ for Saturday night, and I think my Momma is taking my kids, so, it should be a blast - good chance to cut loose for a change. I never get to do that anymore! This will be the third time in the last 14 months that I've had a sitter just for the sake of fun - it's always been work related other then that.
Gabby's got an appointment the 17th of June with her Endocrine doctor up in KCMO, they're having a day devoted to little girls with Turner's Syndrome. I'm super excited about it! She'll get to meet other girls with it, and I'll get to meet their Mommies - I think we'll both benefit greatly from it. Wee! I really don't want her to be old enough to REALIZE she's differant before she meets other little girls "like her" - and I'd love the chance to talk to other Moms who "get it". I've talked to several amazing women online, but the chance to actually sit down, in the same room? I'm almost giddy with excitement.
I think I'm making pizza for dinner tonight. Almost craving it! haha. Should probably be getting that in the oven right now, actually.
Jude's offically learning how to climb. Silly me was under the assumption that walking would come first, but, apparently vertical movement interests him more then horizontal does. Oh, yay. Grump! Scares me so bad!! But, it's all part of having a little boy, I guess - and I'm sure my OTHER little boy had a lot to do with teaching him! haha.
