Oh, bloop sweet bloop. It's been forever, I've missed you so.
I'm a returning blooper. I started on bloop about the time it was made...That was forever ago though. I think that the last diary name I had was Sugar And Spikes, but, I could be wrong there...
I am a single Mom with three amazing children. I've got a great boyfriend. In general, life is pretty good for me right now. I love my job, and it lets me have a lot of time with my kids. What more could a woman ask for?
My oldest, is Alexander James. He was born 9.9.05, at 4:20am. He was 9 lbs 6 oz, and 21.5 inches long. I had 16 hours of natural labor, and another 16 with a failed epidural. After two hours of pushing, I was taken in for an emergency c-section due to decelerations in his heart rate. To be honest, we both came close to dying that night.
His father, hasn't been in the picture for a very long time. We disagreed strongly on our abilities to be parents, and, he made his decisions and I made mine. I wouldn't change it for the world though.
When Alex was 15 months old, I found myself once again expecting. We were thrilled but things were rocky...All in all, my daughter was given a 0% chance of survival. There were a lot of twists and turns in the road to bringing her into the world, but, she survived. On August 21st, 2007, at 6:11 pm, my daughter Gabriella Danielle Faith was born. She was 6lbs 3 oz, and 17 inches long. She's got Turner's Syndrome, which is a chromosomal anomaly. She's had multiple surgeries and will need more as she grows, but I just consider myself damn lucky to have her when everyone said that I couldn't.
After Gabby, I seriously thought I was done having children. I'd lost a child, and then almost loosing Gabby, was too much for me to take. The idea of another pregnancy, terrified me...it literally gave me a panic attack to even think about. However, the stork decided to pay me another visit. On March 26th, 3 months and 3 days after my ex & I split, I gave birth to Jude Robert. Yes, he is named after the song "Hey, Jude". I love The Beatles. He was 7 lbs 11 oz, and 19.5 inches long. He looks JUST like me.
The kids now...are awesome. Alex is 4 and a half, and he's totally type-A. I don't know where he gets it, I'm a bit of a hippie myself. My daughter is 2 and a half, and I swear she's going on 16. I occasionally threaten to change her name to Tantrum McBitchypants. It'd be very fitting. Jude, is my little hippie dippie baby, my rocker child, my tiny. He's the most rediculously happy baby I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. They're all SO differant from each other, it amazes me. I'm so in love!
I've got a pretty damn awesome boyfriend, too, who's...wow. Butterflies, much? I can't believe how lucky I got...I think I may have figured it out this time. He's...more then I had dared to dream about.
Anyways...yay for first entries....It's good to be back. Hopefully I can find some familiar faces... |
