Ever Changing as it Flows
Gabby's appointment at CMH went great. It was a huge relief to finally be consistantly getting good news. We went to Oak Park Mall on the way home and took Gabby to the American Girl Store in there. She was in 3 year old girl HEAVEN, dolls EVERYWHERE. It was awesome to see her face through it all haha. The Turners Syndrome Clinic was incredible, there were two other girls her age there, and they had a BLAST playing. It makes me feel so good to see her so happy, especially after everything life has thrown at her here lately.
Anyways....on to the bigger news I suppose. This is another one of those things we're not putting all over facebook, so, SURPRISE to even those of you who keep up with me over there, but...........Kyle and I are engaged. He surprised me with the ring (which I'm uploading a picture o from my phone currently) a few days ago...after everything we've been through, we've gotten nothing but stronger as a couple, so he decided it was time - and went out and designed my ring. It's got a 2 carat marquis cut solitare with a half carat baugette to each side. It honestly feels really weird on my hand - it's large, it's kinda heavy haha...It's bigger then I would have ever expected (or picked out on my own lol) but I think I'll adjust to it in time. We're not running out and telling everyone, because we'd said we were waiting at least another 6 months to do anything like this and we don't want to hear the inevitable told you so's or naysayers. We're enjoying this and basking in the glow, and don't want anyone putting their damn shadows on our joy (and my family is totally one that would) Anyways....I guess that's really all I have to say for this one....I couldn't keep it to myself and I couldn't put it on facebook, so Hurrah for bloop <3
Eh, that picture blows - heres a better one. Still not the best, yay camera phone pictures, but, they're at least bright enough to see.
