The thing is so screwed up! Lol I apologize to people who get comments from me on posts that have nothing to do with what your current post is. I can never remember if I should hit reply or converse. And sometime I only get one option or another. I hope this doesn't cause to much aggravatin or confusion. Once again.... I apologize. Wish they would make it a bit simpler.

You can do either option. To "reply" you have to actually be on the entry, but you can "converse" from either the entry or comments page.
When you reply, the person should get a message telling them someone replied to their comment and directing them to the entry to see it, tho I've noticed that sometimes that feature doesn't work (seems to be hit and miss).
If you use converse, it will automatically appear on their newest entry, whether you have read it or not. I think that most people do it this way, starting with "RYC:" so the person knows it is regarding their comment and not just totally out of left field.
Personally, I do both. Just depends on my mood.

I go to the post, read the comment again and then reply from there, works for me
