Sorry to hear that. At least it had a long, good life...or it seemed that way from your last entry. It's always hard, but putting an animal to sleep is so much more compassionate than letting it suffer because you can't bear to part with it.

Sorry to hear this, our pets do become like part of our family, it's very hard to lose them, been there a couple times before I decided not again, for a while anyway.
