Eternal Sunshine. By : Sarah Tomashot
There once was a girl born very bold
She never ever fit the mold
And one day she met this boy of whom she was told
Was just simply, simply too cold
But determined was she to find out
Everything and all this boy was about
To her he was strong and even very stout
She thought him perfect inside and out
Anything, anything said she to he
For them always together to be
Soon too soon they would all see
That nothing would keep them from eternity
She wouldn’t tell him the plan
She’d do all that she can
To keep this brave man
And so she ran
She ran to the bridge just around the corner
She tried not to think of the way they would mourn her
She left them a note, but a simple script
In her own hand and very well writ
And on this stage of woe it would sit
Until a shred of luminance here was lit
She told them she need not live to see another sun
But this wasn’t true she just wanted the one
The one whose heart she had wanted and won
The one who would make the song of her heart be sung
No light would enter, not even a ray
On this dark depressing day
In their minds this image would stay
Never ever would it go away
Never would they have forgot her
This vision of their dear daughter
Sent out like sheep to slaughter
Swept away by the cold, still water
They left her memory in the water to rot
Never to truly have an eternal spot
In a small, trapped earthen cot
Soon they would know the truth of her thought
But in all truth
In her restless youth
She had escaped like a sleuth
With a sense of real couth
She went to the window of her lover’s room
Waiting to explain to him this unneeded gloom
But here in this place something did loom
Some horrible sense of impending doom
She stormed into the room creating quite a crash
And the carpet it seemed had broken into a rash…
A body lying there with a spilled pink stash
And here it was she realized their plans did clash
On his cheek she left him a soft peck
Then she took his belt and tightly wrapped it around her neck
Later it would be their pulse they would check
While examining this awful wreck
But no one would take he from she
They would be together for eternity
In the memories of you and me
They would forever remain in immortality
