So with two days until the end of term I'm feeling pretty good- I am looking forward to the summer- planning on getting a massage, a facial and some electrolysis to try to beautify myself a bit.
I got my pay rise notification for September, I'm hoping that on average I will be earning a couple of hundred extra per month, meaning I can put the difference into saving for my holiday this Christmas/ next summer.
I'm hoping to be away from England- that was my plan last year, and it didn't really happen. I hate to sound like a grinch, but other than hymns/carols and fairylights there isn't much about Christmas that I enjoy- its tedious and stressful, I hate receiving gifts as I either feel guilty or embarrassed. Its full of meaningless small chat and that's about it! So to be away, mayb in NZ with Bex or on a tropical island would be good!
And if I'm earning enought to save at least a grand, I should be able to afford both holidays! I definitely need some me time- I've spent the past few weeks constantly around others, and it grates after a bit- it's weird that I'm such a solitary person- and then I get the odd craving for people!
