Last night was awesome, Bex and I caught some live opera in Trafalgar square after eating behind the Skins cast in Wagamama and then went to The Cellar Door- a converted Victorian toilet that Oscar Wilde used to hang out in... it was Cabaret night so we got up and sang, had snuff and wine and generally had an amazing night.
When I got home though there was a different story- Mick my fat chav housemate who's old enough to be my dad was drunk (he had drunk all of MY alcohol) and had left the door open so that his cigarette smoke had stunk out the house... needless to say I was not impressed. I can't wait to move out in December- this month Adam and I are scouting for houses- I've already found the dream flat but it costs as much as a 3 bed house slightly further out, so not sure what I'm going to do!
Got back from Rome on Sunday- our first holiday away, it was nice spending 24/7 with him cos we got to learn more about each other's temperaments, and it turns out we're really understanding of each other- I don't take to heart his defensive stuff and he doesn't take to heart my grumpiness- so all in all it was amazing! We've reached that stage where we're comfy just being silent around each other, and don't need to fill every second with chatter... it's almost like we've been going out for a year even though it's only been 3 months.
He's already said he wants to marry me, and over the holiday we were talking about it more seriously- I said I definitely don't want to be proposed to until Xmas as then we'll know more about if we're right for each other (although it already feels totally right) and we've not had our first fight yet (don't think that will happen til we moved in together though as the only differences we have involve his messy room)!
On saying that, because his mum is getting remarried in Oct/Dec time we've all been looking at venues etc and planning stuff, and I've decided I want to get married in a National Trust home, I've even found an amazing one in Surrey that we both agreed was beautiful:-
so Bex and I were talking about how cool it would be to get married (especially the wedding day bit) and who would be in charge of what etc... its scary to think that life may be moving on that quickly, but I feel ready and it all feels right- yes things may look different in a few months- but right now we're both so sure that we want to be together and that its a lifetime kind of thing.
