So since I know quite a few people on this site have DS' I figured I'd ask here for your suggestions on games to get.
I got one for christmas, and so far I only have a pokemon pearl game. (which I totally love, btw ;)) But I'd like more! I adore mario/zelda-type games. And pokemon, obviously :) So what are your favorite games? And why? |

Professor Layton and the Curious Village is the first and (in my opinion) better game. It's a sort of point and click adventure filled with puzzles. It's really quite fun!
I also like all the Guitar Hero games, Zelda... When I am looking for a game, I always search on Amazon for the bestselling ones. I do recommend getting an R4 or similar card if you don't have any qualms about downloading games... it saves you a bunch and a lot of DS games promise to be good and are DIRE, so it's nice to know you haven't lost any money ;) |

Zelda and the phantom ocarina of menace (or whatever it's called, the pirate one) is absorbingly difficult, I think the new one is much the same. MarioKart is AWESOME.
My favourite games are murder mysteries, of which there are many. |

I have a DS lite that I got for my birthday that I just lovelovelove. I only have a couple games though.
I have Super Mario 64 for DS, and that one's good. Just like N64 lol. MarioKart is amazing. I also have Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness that I'm in love with. I'm interested in other people's answers as well as I've been meaning to get new games but I'm not sure what to get. :) I hope this helps. |

I haven't got many either! I recently got "Imagine: My Boutique" for Christmas...I picked it out cause I saw it on TV commercials and it looked neat. It's not too bad. But I can see me getting through it quite quickly and then maybe being bored. Lol. Um...I haven't got any Mario games! But I want them! I looked for Animal Crossing because I played that on my brother's....that's supposed to be a good one. But it's still so expensive here ($65!). Also, I have The Sims 2 for DS but it's a lot different to Sims on the computer...I think the computer one is definitely better. Brain Training is fun! I haven't tried Pokemon or Zelda but they both look interesting!
Right now, my fave game is the "Boutique" one cause you can create a bunch of different things like flower arrangements, perfumes, cakes, etc. But I definitely need to get some other ones! Lol. :) |

I had The Sims 2 for my advance. It wasn't too bad. I actually liked it ;D
I really like the pokemon pearl game that I have. I've been living off gold/yellow/red and the graphic upgrade is like woaaah. Although not knowing ANY of the pokemon makes me mad. How can you know which ones are cute if you don't know them? :( |

scribblenauts is apparently good fun! It sounds really cool to me.
|
Acid Fairy Post Count: 1849 |
Scribblenauts gets quite repetitive as you can usually complete the level with a rope and helicopter. However, it is pretty cool and I would recommend it, purely for the random situations you can create!

I have all of the Mario games, Princess Peach, some Harvest Moon, and my boyfriend has Final Fantasy 3. I got Bowser's Inside Story for Christmas and it's really cool so far.

Ooh, my little cousin got Bowser's Inside Story and was playing it on his DS at Christmas.. he wouldn't let me play (I really dislike that kid, lol), but all he would tell me was that "it's where Bowser eats you" :P.

lol well, he's sort've right. He inhales Mario and Luigi and then you explore his body. Kind of dirty if you think about it that way, like I clearly do ;D.

Cooking Mama 1 & 2. I haven't gotten 3 yet, but I'm sure it's just as awesome as the other two. They also have gardening Mama which I hear is fun. I also have Scrabble for my DS (because I'm a nerd like that) and I have Spongebob Beach Party Cookoff which is like Cooking Mama only with Krabby Patties, hah.
My roomie LOVES Professor Layton! |

My seven year old really likes Brain Age (I've played it a few times too, and it's really fun), and Nintendogs. She also likes the Sonic games and Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader. I bought her the Cooking Mama sequence a while ago, but she doesn't seem to play that much.
