why can't i view most of your layout diaries?? every time i see a cute layout, i'll click on your link and i'll get SORRY, THIS PAGE CANT BE DISPLAYED. why?

My diary is set to If I can't see your diary, you can't see mine.

I just tried clicking to see your diary, and I don't have access, so you won't be able to see mine.
Most layout diaries have that set, as most of us like to be able to see how our layouts are being used; and to avoid being ripped off.

Because your diary is FO, and I have the 'if I can't see you, then you can't see me' setting turned on.

I have this setting on so I can see if my layouts are being used correctly, and so I can suggest things and help people out if the layouts get a bit broken. And also just to check how they're being used generally, whether people are mangling them all up, whether people are removing my credit/link, and so on... Pretty much all my layouts incorporate photographs I've personally taken, and so I take a lot of pride in my work and hate seeing it go to the dogs. xD

If you want to see our gorgeous amazing layouts, just add us to your Friends list. =)

You can make your DIARY members only, and all your entries friends only, then you'll be able to view them.

Most layout diaries don't like that. Because it's no different than the diary being completely friends only.
I personally will block someone who has a MO/FO diary that views my layout diary.

probably because they can't view your diary. Mine was always on the setting where friends only diaries couldn't see my diary since I couldn't see theirs.

I have the same setting as everyone above me on mine. Can't see my diary if I cannot see yours.

ohh ok well lemme change my settings and i'll see what happens then...
