Hi, I know there's been thread on Reptiles and pets before, but I love seeing other peoples pets. And sharing mine :D
Hopefully this wont cause any drama. Anyhow.....Here are my new babies: Red eared & Yellow bellied slider terrapins/turtles My eldest son (Harry)called the red eared slider Crush (turtle from finding nemo) The other is Splash because he splashes about alot (and I also think he's from finding nemo?) I have a tabby, Yasashii (roughly tanslates to "gentle") and a bearded dragon, Nesoberu ("to sprawl," which he does quite well). Kitten's about 2 years old, and Neso is about 2 1/2 years old.
This is huge, I know, but I'm lazy, so I'm taking it from my DeviantArt account. |

He loves electronics. His best friend was the remote, until I got my Blackberry. XD
This was the tub we kept his superworms in, so he loved that too. ha Aaaaand this is his Spinach Hat! |

He is so cute!
I love the spinach hat picture. I remember working at a pet shop, and my favorite cage to clean was the bearded dragons. I heard that they will sometimes sit on their owner's lap, and "cuddle". Are they a "company" kind of reptile? And by "company kind of reptile", I mean a reptile that can sit by a person, and just chill. |

Bearded dragons are generally very amiable; they love the company of people. They'll chill on or near your for hours without moving an inch... and since they love warmth, they love to snuggle into necks and cleavage! And they don't bite either, so it's easy to get comfy with them around.

I've never seen a yellow one! My nephews have both been a greenish color.
The yellow ones are even scarier ;D |

There's so many different breeds of them it's amazing. Some have crazy colours, and some are HUGE. Neso's only about 19 inches long, which is average. I'm guessing there's a breeder in this area that only sells yellowish ones though, because that's all I ever see here.

I think my nephew's was about two feet long. I never really got close enough to measure, obviously. But it was about that long.
I've been terrified of them ever since I can remember. I was sitting on my aunt's couch when my cousin had one. and she didn't see fit to tell us they couldn't find Bubba (His beardie). and lo and behold, I feel something a-creepin up my back. My aunt said she's never seen anyone turn so pale so fast in her life. She thought for sure I was going to pass out. I've never seen her move so fast lol, she just ran up and plucked him right off my back. I was like seven, now I'd probably pass out, since I'm even more scared of them than I was then ;D |

My husband would DIE if he saw this! He absolutely adores bearded dragons and iguanas.

That's a brilliant picture! I wonder what my cat would do with a reptile for a friend!

Yasashii tries to play with him all the time. Nipping at his tail and poking him. And she has this thing about eyeballs, so she's constantly trying to sniff his eyes. lol We got her really young though, so we taught her that she has to play nice with him. But really, I think she's disappointed that he doesn't really respond to her and just kinda sits there staring at her. He's a very tolerant little lizard. XD
