I still write letters to my daddy and my gamma. Some of them can be found in my entries.. Not sure I would want to submit them to anyones diary though but it is a good idea

They can also set up a diary on another site, like blogger or whatever, and use that as well.

Technically yes but this diary offers anonymity if someone doesn't want to reveal who wrote it for whatever reason. Maybe the person they want to write it to is someone who follows their diary. They can submit it here without revealing its them and who it is to.

not saying it's a terrible idea. just that people have ways of doing it already.

Well bloop secrets isn't really a place to write a letter to someone. And if they wrote a private entry we wouldn't get the entertainment of reading them would we? lol

Eh it's supposed to be more of a "secret" not a rant-ish letter.
I've had to weed out a lot of therapy-like letters, because they're too descriptive, etc.

well it just feels like these letters are none of our business really, and if it's about another blooper than won't it just turn into that diary that got deleted that everyone bitched "anonymously" about other bloopers on?

@ & Skull: the intention is not the same with that Dear Anonymous diary. The goal is to get what you're feeling out in letter form so you feel better. I only included a blurb about writing about other bloopers in case someone wants to write about another blooper. Other than that, my goal was to help others find a way to release emotions they don't want to express on a particular person or group of people in their IRL. If you don't want to participate you don't have to, if you don't want to read then don't. I don't understand why you keep going on about what a bad idea you think it is. Point taken. Thanks.

i never said it was a bad idea, i even stated i didn't think that way, i was just pointing out there were ways of doing so already.

it's a public forum, if you can't handle someone asking about it then pack up your diary and turn your computer off. sook.

Am I the only one who thinks all of these "help" diaries seem to just be an extension of ones own diary? It's really kind of getting old. I know people want the attention of starting the next big thing on bloop, but I doubt it's going to be for something people can do in their own diaries....
