This is inspired by the hertiage thread which I liked reading.

My heritage is Italian (mother) American (Father)
My significant other's is Russian (Mother) Cuban (Father)

So our children would be Italian-Russian-Cuban-American, which sounds like an exciting mix!!!!

If we have children I hope they'd have my SOs blue eyes and fair hair and my tan skin.

What would your chidren's heritage be, or what is it already?
What would you like your children to inherit from yourself/your SO? Or what have they inherited?

Remember, it's just for fun!

here's a cool link about this subject!

What color eyes will your children have?

I thought it was so cool when I found that a few months ago, I bookmarked it. My kids are likely to have green eyes, like my husband-though mine are blue. I would love that. I would love to get a redhead, too . I had red hair when I was born and still have red mixed in with the natural brown, it's from my grandma. My husband's mother has red hair.

We already know any kids we have will be PALE , bless their hearts, and they will almost certainly need braces. :-P
(as we both needed that-I even had jaw surgery, which my mother also had to have-I inherited some overbite/TMJ issues from her.)

I was actually researching the genetics behind hazel eyes earlier, believe it or not, and apparently they don't know why people end up with hazel eyes, since it doesn't fit into the model that satisfies genetics for blue, green and brown eyes. I feel all enigmatic now! ;D

My heritage is Native American (father) and Irish (mother).
My husband's heritage is Native American (mother) and German (father)
So our daughter's heritage is Native American-Irish-German.

She has got my husband's dark compliction, his curly hair, brown eyes, full lips, and tall lean figure. She has my nose, high check bones, tiny ears, and long eyelashes.
Beautiful combination if I say so myself. lol =)

My heritage: Japanese, Filipino, Spanish (as in from Spain) [mother], Norwegian and German [father]
Husband's: "black" [mother], Native American and Spanish [father]

So...they'll basically have a little of everything.

Our children will likely have tanned skin, brown hair and are 75% likely to have brown eyes. (If not, they'll be either green or blue, like one of our parents', which would be super exciting!)

Heritage is usually down to parents.

For example, my cousin's parents are English and Welsh and she was born in South Africa and has lived in England since she was 3. But she's half English, half Welsh (along with all the other random nationalities that are hiding in that side of the family!) I don't think she identifies with being Welsh though.

Both my husband and I have kind of a Heinz 57 heritage thing goin on, so I have NO idea there, lol.

But my daughter got my husbands ice blue eyes (even though that calculator thing said she's 75% likely to have green, lol - though I noticed there was no option for hzel, which both my parents, and I have - and there IS a difference)

But she got his hair colorm- it has red undertones, my hair texture - curly, my eye shape - almond, we both have long eyelashes which she also got, and she got his cleft chin - a butt chin!

Haha yeah it irritates me when I have to pick 'brown' when there is no option for hazel, because mine are dark green on the outside and light brown towards the centre so I can never decide!
