LOL Not that I mind it, I just don't know if it's a Bloop thing, or it's a thing with people from the UK, or what...
Bear with me I'm kind of a newbie here, I haven't been on Bloop in a few years, (yo)! :P |

It's a phenomenon that's spread to every inch of Bloop. Everyone says it, even if by accident, even though they say they don't. Personally, I've been plagued pretty bad. I re-read everything I say and try deleting them, but it slips out all the time. My words are filled with it if you talk to me on messenger.

I'm from Miami, Florida & it's just a way of talking down here. People say it to get someone's attention, or an add-on to a sentence. Example: "Yo, how much is that?" So for me, it's not a Bloop thing -- I've been saying 'yo' before I even came to bloop a couple years ago. But I'm not one of those people that say it in every sentence.

"Yo" has been around for a long time, yo! ;D

Lol. Yup. We Brits all go about saying 'Yo' to everyone. Hehe.
Seriously though, it's not a British thing. It's a Puck thing, and it's just sort of caught on. Unlike you, some people do get annoyed by it (which baffles me... I mean, it's just a word!). Which means it just gets used even more frequently. Lol. |

It's a LADY PUCK thing that has become a Bloop thing. I was indifferent to it, now I use it all the time, on Bloop and off, by accident.

It's something that only people over a certain IQ are able to pull-off/understand. ;D

not everyone says it. it's mostly puck and some of her friends. it's been like that for a while. idiots get shitty at it because they have boring petty lives. little do they realise the angrier they get at a two letter word the longer it'll hang around.

Yeah it started as a Puck thing here, I guess. But she had to get it from somewhere!!! Its certainly not new.

GOSH, YO, I DO BELIEVE NAUGHTY CETERISPARIBUS STARTED IT, YO! SHE'S AMERICAN. THE PUCK JUST ADOPTED IT AND OVERUSED IT BECAUSE IT'S FUN TO WATCH EVERYONE REACT LIKE SPARKLERS TO IT! ;D IT IS NORMALLY ACCOMPANIED WITH AN ENGLISH 'GOSH' FOR FULL EFFECT, GOSH, YO!

I love the word 'gosh'. More people need to use it!
|

I agree people should use gosh more! I've been trained to use it a lot because parts of my family are very religious and I got scolded every time I said "oh my god" "god dammit" so I really say it out of respect for those with religious beliefs.

Haha I just found a group dedicated to the word gosh on Facebook! And it had no admins left so I became one :-) Tis here.

I have been saying YO since I started on Bloop, a long long time ago, YO.

Estella Post Count: 1779 |
YES, YO! DOC WILL PROBABLY BE IN SOON TO SAY HOW HE'S BEEN YO'ING BEFORE MOST BLOOPERS WERE BORN! ;D
|
sumamen Post Count: 180 |
Yo, we should start a diary of the original yo'ers! YO
|
Estella Post Count: 1779 |
YOU SHOULD, YO! AND I TOTALLY WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO JOIN, BECAUSE EVERYONE WAS YO'ING BEFORE ME! KEL AND BOTTOM WERE YO'ING ALL OVER THE PLACE BEFORE I DECIDED TO ADOPT IT! ;D RYAN WAS SLOWER THOUGH - HIS GOSHES AND YO'S HAVE BEEN MORE OF A RECENT THING! I DO REMEMBER MY EXCITEMENT WHEN I FIRST SAW GOSHES AND YO'S CREEP INTO RYAN'S ENTRIES! ;D
