I saw the thread about the worst Christmas gifts, so I decided to turn the tables, and get everyone talking about their most favorite or most memorable gift.

Personally, mine was (and I sound like such a little kid) the Barbie Dream House when I was about 7 years old. I had begged my parents for it for months, and they kept telling me no, so I was totally shocked when I opened it up on Christmas morning. Anyone else?

Having me in my dream man's arms for the last two holidays and many more commin is the favorite gift i could ever ask for...

American Girl doll, hands down. I literally cried with happiness when I opened her. :) lol

Hrm....well, I could be cheesy and say finding out I was pregnant, but I'll be un-cheesy and say....eletronic keyboard when I was 18. I love music and it was from my dad, which made it even more awesome :)

Way back when I got my first pair of Uggs. -swoon-

I got a punching bag this year from my mom. ;-D That was pretty badass.

The best one, in terms of usefulness, was from this year too. My sister got me a "myplace laptop desk" that I absolutely love. It's a little table that I can set my laptop on, on my bed, my lap, anywhere. It has a built in mouse pad and a little light on it. I love it. She got it from Bed Bath and Beyond if anyone wants to check it out. I totally recommend it.

A turtle

For me its not so much something you hold. And as time has gone on espec now that daddy is gone its increased in its worth.
We lived near Bamberg Germany at the time, and the night before Christmas Eve (which I fully reccomend everyone spend atleast one Christmas in Germany) daddy came home from work, told mom to pack up enough for a week for all of us and we went to Berchtesgaden. Instead of staying at the hotel for the military families we stayed in this little room above a tavern.
We didn't even take our presents with us that year - had to wait to open them up after we got home. But the fact that it was so beautiful, daddy wasnt at work for once - we had him an entire week just to us was the best gift ever

I think the best gift that I have ever recieved had to be a Granddaughters Angel that my grandmother got me last christmas. It plays Over the rainbow and has a lot of sentimental value.
