Ya know.. I never really cared for the guy. But I must say he has earned a lot of respect from me lately. I won't go into boring details, but hats off to the man. He is doing a good job from what I see.

I actually think he's gonna bring some good changes as well, unlike the idiot before him! I'm glad he was America's choice! He even came to the Middle East and we didn't throw any shoes at him! Always a good sign LOL

I completely agree with you. I get upset with the people who are expecting him to change things right away though, changes can't be made fast--he's working on them and to me that's what the counts the most.

I agree - I really like him as well. That's why I voted for him. (And I'm not a Democrat or a Republican either.)

I think he's great, and I think he really cares and wants to change things for the better. I think he'll do great things for America.

Having worked on his campaign, met him, and even travelled to Montana to work for him, I must say that I'm proud of what he's done.
A lot of people have nothing but negative things to say about him, so this thread is a nice change.

He's doing good things and I think a lot of people are just being really impatient with him. Things don't just change by themselves, people.

I think he is going to do okay, I know a lot of people are complaining that he hasn't done A, B and C yet, normally they are the same people who moan about things being rushed for, the bloody hard to please. He has been given a country to run that is in a crap state, he can't perform miracles, it is going to take time, and certainly longer than his time in office to sort America out.

I heart Obama too! I completely think he was the best thing that could have happened for this country. The day he offically became President. I felt like a weight had been lifted off of my shoulders. (Mainly cuz I was in the Army and well I think everyone is ready for this stupid war to be over with.) But I think the first family is great and i really think Michelle is an awesome first lady as well. :)

Well there is this story, here. it seems to explain what happened pretty well, even though there is no audio clip. It seems to me that ABC wouldn't apologize about it unless it really ocurred the way it was reported.
