There are threads for advice on parenting and sex, threads about current news issues, and just threads on topics such as, "Where did such and such go!" But why not have a thread on prayer requests?

My prayer request is for my little brother Chris. He's what's called, "a street runner." He's been on and off the streets since he was 16-years-old and he's been in and out of prison since the same time. He's 20 now and was just released from prison after serving a year for grand theft auto, forgery and some other crimes. He got off light in the hopes that he would turn his life around. Now, he's showing signs of going back into that life style.

So that's mine. What's yours?

My current prayer request is for my grandfather. He had a partial knee replacement surgery today and while it is much easier to go through than a total knee replacement, he's a stubborn man. He also was having problems with stabilizing his blood pressure post-op, so I'm praying for a.) an easy, fast recovery, and b.) for his blood pressure to stabilize. He's had two stints put in, in the past and we'd rather not go there again :).

One of my current prayers is for a family friend who is suffering badly due to RA coupled with lymes.

I wanted you to know Hollie that I have been praying for Sandy all day. I cannot seem to get her out of my thoughts!

My biggest prayer requests is for my friend's family who just lost a loved one. My ex-boyfriend (who committed suicide my senior year) brother just lost his new bride. She was only 24 years old. She was an up & coming country music singer & a beautiful loving mother of a 4 year old little boy. She died Sunday morning due to a car accident.

I'm so very sorry to hear this! I will be keeping him and his family in my prayers!

My prayer request would be for my Aunt Andre, she has just been diagnosed with breast cancer, and had her left breast removed on Friday. They will be checking her in the next week or so to see if it's spread any further, but she's a stubborn lady and has already said she doesnt want to go through chemo and such. Pray that she's okay and that when they removed her breast, they got it all.

I am defininetly praying for your Aunt Andre! So that the surgery will go well and everything is OK!
