Who remembers the Vox Populi drama? Was anyone else around for that?

I think that was before my days on Bloop. That or I was just completely unaware of it.

I was way before most peoples' days on Bloop.

There was a group diary called Vox Populi, where people would write politically charged rants, or philosophical stuff or whatever - and another diary, which I can't remember its name specific name (something to the effect of Opinionated) had this gigantic hate war with one another. I think that was the original Bloop drama that started the RC wars.

What year was that? It sounds familiar but it might just be me being totally off base. Most of 2004 I really didn't know what was going on w/ bloop. XD

IT WOULD HAVE BEEN 2003, I THINK - OR THE EARLY PART OF 2004. I ARRIVED ON BLOOP SEPTEMBER 2004, AND BY THEN, THE VOX POPULI DRAMAZ WERE A THING OF THE PAST, WHICH PEOPLE OCCASIONALLY REFERRED TO.

Ok then yeah, it was just my imagination. I came here in November of 04 and was in my own little world at the time. xD

I've been here since 2003, but I didn't really get involved in any drama until later when I discovered RC.

Sadly I'd been involved in drama on RC long before I met you. Abortion, guns, euthanasia, obesity, I was in there! Although I do believe it was one drama or another which led to us becoming friends. Was it the obesity vs skinny RC entries?

now that i'm thinking about it, i think the diary was called "opinionations"? maybe.

There were multiple attempts to bring it back, but it just wasn't as popular as it used to be. There aren't enough people on the site now who can form a coherent sentence as there used to be,

LOL! I remember that. That was when I FIRST came to Bloop. I was only 13 at the time, so none of it really mattered to me :P. I do remember it though.

does anyone else remember the Note Whores Society? was that because of Vox Populi as well?

No, the Note Whores Society was just a general group diary where people could submit anything. It had nothing to do with drama whatsoever, but I think it was inspired by that kind of thing.

i remember how many people cracked it over choosing new mods. IT'S NOT FAIR, YOU CAN TELL WHO WROTE THEM! -facepalm-

the christmas tree contest drama was pretty fucking funny. WTF PEOPLE THAT DON'T CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS CAN'T PARTICIPATE!

vox populi, and opinionations had some pretty hardcore drama in there, mostly about abortion lol.

danny and tommy were drama pros. i think i had at least one argument with each of them. at least their responses didn't kill your brain.

the chat room dramas. fuck. i remember every fucking new kid blooper who'd come in there and start shit with me because of my user name. so so lame. that and the people coming in there looking to cyber and date. ew. no.
