Easier to see then explain. I sent you my last invite so you should get it pretty quickly. Once you log in, it will send you a wave explaining it with youtube vids as well explaing what it is and what you can do with it currently. Pretty nifty site that has great promise in the future.

What's it all about, yo? Like, it seems to be something for projects, where you work together. Like something you'd use at college?

It's basically email, actually. But it's live so you can see what people type, as they type. The main difference is that a "wave" is hosted in one place and everyone looks at that one hosted version. Emails, by comparison, send out new copies for each message and that creates a million different versions. If someone new comes into the conversation, they won't get the whole picture. The main concept behind its conception is "What would e-mail look like if it was invented today?"

Gosh, that sounds dreadful, yo! I do not want people seeing me typing a wrong word and deleting it and then changing my wording. Like, I like to do that part in private, and they can read the finished product. I do not understand how it's helpful to observe each other typing.

It supposedly speeds up a conversation. But I don't like it either. Eventually they will have the "people can't watch as I type" feature
