You should get ostrich eggs, yo! Like ostriches have bigger vaginas, so their eggs can be bigger! Alas, I've never had opportunity to buy an ostrich egg but I totally want to try one!

They sell them on our market, but by the time I arrive they are always sold out so I have to settle for an ostrich burger.

I went vegan for awhile. The main reason was to lose weight. lol. Check out Vegan with a Vengeance. It's a good cookbook with tons of fun recipes including homemade seitan. Veganism is basically saying they refuse to eat (and often times, use) anything that came from an animal. It may be popular in the states more because everything we eat comes from questionable means. lol. Lots of animal cruelty. I did, however, need to supplement a lot, and had to start eating meat again because I wasn't processing plant protein while working out. It's hard to be vegan and be trying to gain muscle and burn fat.

A friend of mine was vegan for a while, and ended up not really being able to eat much. No eggs, dairy, meat, fish, those were the basics. Then it got complicated with things like no honey, refined sugar (refined in animal bone char), gelatin and the like, really doing his homework on things. You wouldn't believe the things that contain animals or animal products in foods you thought were animal-free.
But either way, that doesn't stop me from enjoying a good old bacon cheeseburger or a turducken. |

Gosh, I feel like a haggis now, yo! Like, a proper one with meat! Alas, I do not see them in Asda! Tesco totally did a Finest Haggis!

What does a vegetarian haggis consist of?
|

A lot of people don't eat eggs/milk because of the conditions they're harvested in, and the treatment of the animals who produce them.

Im not at all vegetarian. Hell, if you came to my parents house and said you were vegetarian, my mother wouldl get angry and not talk to you.
Reminds me of that movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DONT EAT MEAT???...... OK, I MAKE LAMB" |

Lol! My uncle's wife's family are farmers and they get angry at me too! Especially when I told them I agreed with the fox hunting ban... I don't think any of them spoke to me for the rest of the night ;D
