I might also add, that the storm itself sucks.
I'm planning on switching to a different phone in May (a year before my normal 2-year upgrade. It sucks THAT bad.) My dad has the same phone, and uses it to just watch movies on his phone on occasion. He hates it more than I do ;D |

You really shouldn't have to do several battery pulls daily.
If you're hourglassing a lot its one of two things. there are too many applications running in the background because they weren't closed properly or you've got a software and need a reload. Even as a tech support agent, if i had to battery pull my device more than once i day i'd pitch the damn thing out the window. :P |

Haha. Yes I know I shouldn't have to do battery pulls. I shouldn't have to do any with the price I paid for that phone. But I understand that shit happens and it needs to be done on occasion.
I had all of one application running (facebook.) and more than the recommended 40mb (i think?) of app memory free. (I just have FB and MSN installed. And I replaced the RIM Maps with Google Maps. So yeah def nowhere near cap.) And I always close my browser and media player when I'm done using them. The battery dies too fast otherwise with all the crap running. Which I learned the hard way. Trust me, I know aaallll the causes of my phone being a fuckwad. I also reloaded the software a couple different times. I pretty much didn't use it unless I had to until the latest OS came out, which like I said, fixed it all up. |

i have an lg incite.
it's all touch screen.. the only buttons are the call and end. sometimes when i select my new messages, it just pops up that it's loading and then freezes. i have to take the battery out and then turn it back on and half of the time when i do, my message is gone. so unless i've been having a conversation, i don't know who just texted me. and if i am in a conversation, i have to ask them to resend their message. also, they gave it to me with a stylus, but there's no way to hook it to my phone, so i can't use it unless i'm at home. suchhh a pain. |

I have the Curve 8320. Mine doesnt freeze at all. Thats probably because anytime I have an issue I totally go to crackberry.com and post on the forums.
The one thing I hate?? Not enough internal memory. Thats all :) |

I have the 8520 and it has never crashed or anything. The only thing I don't like, bill day!

I have an Iphone 3Gs, and i LOVE IT, but you're right, there are always things about your phone that you wish weren't there!
For example, I hate that I cant customise the message tones. I figured out the ringtones, but that was hard enough! I also hate the smudges that get all over the screen! |
Tam I Am Post Count: 311 |
Oh man I hate the smudges on my screen too! I think all touch screens need to come with a soft cleaning cloth you can use on them. Like standard in the box when you buy the phone.

I actually have a Samsung Mythic and it came with screen protectors and a cleaning cloth. I love my phone. It's perfect in every way.

it has a really pretty dark red color, and the paint is so smooth and nice but it CHIPS so easily. i hate having these little paint chips on the edges, it's all i can think about when i look at my phone

the only thing i don't like about my phone is that occasionally words i know i've programmed into the dictionary seem to vanish and i have to add them in again.

i have a samsung instinct and its touch screen... i hate that as soon as i try to c&p a layout, it'll kick me off the web!! also we had a power outage about two weeks ago, when the power went out my phone was on the charger and ever since then my phone will rest at least once a day. plus i dont have any cool apps like my hubby can get on his palm pre.

I have a Nokia E71X & I love it!! It's the best phone I've ever had. The internet is fast because I can connect to the WiFi at my home or anywhere it has it. I don't really have any complaints on it. Maybe the QWERTY keyboard buttons could be a little bigger because sometimes it's easy to hit two buttons at a time. I have to use my nails to hit the buttons to text because they are so small, so I wouldn't suggest it to a man with big fingers or a woman who doesn't have nails because they could possibly be a problem trying to text. But for me it's fine. The charger is the only thing I can complain about. It's so easy to bend the metal piece that goes into the phone. I had to replace the charger within 3 weeks of having the phone, but I've had the one I have now for months & it hasn't broke yet. So all in all it's a great phone!

I have a Samsung m520. It is the best pone ever because I don't use it to do all that extra bullshit. I don't pay for internet or any of those ridiculous expensive data plans because I use the internet at home from my computer to check my e-mail and facebook. I use my phone to call people and text message them now and then. The reception is good (unless I'm out in the middle of nowhere) and it's lasted me for the last 3 years. It's a slider phone so I don't have to worry about purse-dialing anyone and it doesn't have one of those ridiculous keyboards.

I'm glad I'm not the only person who doesn't use the internet on my phone. We paid around $800 or so for the computer, and around $70 a month for the internet... why would we possibly waste yet another $30+ a month just to use the internet on our phones?

I also just find it hilarious that people are so fuckin' obsessed with crap like twitter and facebook and that they can't be without it, so they have to update from their phone!
I think smartphones like Blackberry and things of the like are great for people who's jobs require it (as in business people who need to be in touch with people via company e-mail but are on the road a lot etc) but for people that get phones like that just so they can update their goddamn twitter because they're bored at work? Give me a break. I'm away from Facebook for about 8.5 hours a day while I'm at work and....*gasp* it's still fuckin' there when I get back! I don't need to have access to Facebook everywhere I go. |

i would be lost without my bb, even with two laptops. |

I have the LG Rumour and I love everything about it. It doesn't drop calls (when I actually make a call) and the keyboard is wicked. I've had it for a little over a year and I have had no problems with it at all. Hell, I get service in elevators with it...it's awesome!
