Those photos go above and beyond what is deemed acceptable, and the fact that you took the time and effort to make them in an attempt to insult and humiliate me shows signs of a mentality that is frightening, cruel and scary.

The fact that you've posted them on other places outside of this diary site is also appalling (Youtube, for example), and rather sickening to me. Bloop's gotta be thrilled that you're using their name in that one picture with my head blowing up, because that just gives the site GREAT publicity when paired with such an angry, negative, hateful connotation.

As for the invisible IP tracker thing? Good luck with that. You'll have to do something that redirects to a server or scripting that redirects offsite (like a flash object), because unless you have access to Bloop's servers, you're not going to be getting the list of page requests for your diary unless you can access the Bloop servers. And even then, once you have someone's IP, what are you going to do with it? An IP of someone who visited your page isn't going to be enough to convince the mods that a person hacked you. You'd have to get the IP of the person who hacked you and then compare that IP to all the other account login requests. If there's a match with someone else, than it means that you oculd have possibly found who hacked your account, if they did, but then the problem is DHCP.

Internet providers lease out their IPs, and unless you're a business customer who has paid for a static IP address, the addresses of people's computers and modems change frequently. Shit, if me and my neighbor power-cycled our modems and waited an hour to turn them back on, it's possible that we could each get assigned the IP address that the other person had, because those addresses get reused and recycled frequently. Now take that and apply it to a large net of internet users from a provider like Comcast for example, and think about how many people are on Bloop. The chances are slim, but I'm betting there's been some address overlap.

TL ; DR: Based on all your other posts across the board, you claim to not care about much, and in the end you say that you ain't even mad about anything. You claim that it's not your style to raise a ticket either, so why bother posting about this in the first place?

I didn't bother with the IP tracker, it's a pain i the ass, but if you stay on top of things. and the offender repeats the action. you can figure out who it is. I've done it before.

Not only will i not bother with that on bloop, but i didn't even change my password. so have all the use of my stupid account that you want.

I'm still flattered that you think I'm the one who "hacked" your account, especially when staff just said that they found no trace of anything of the sort happening. The only thing I've ever "hacked" into was my own garage, using a crowbar, when I locked myself out of the house.

No offense to you or Steve, but Bloop is pretty wonky right now - I couldn't see it being too difficult for a script kiddy to mess around with some coding and getting into peoples' accounts.

Maybe, I guess we'll never know. The only way to access an account is to either a. hack the server with direct access to the database (very unlikely given IP restrictions / passwords), b. get hold of the user's session.

And even when you get hold of the user's session, to validate it on your own machine you have to have an IP address that matches at least on the first two bytes.

There is a lot of security that stands in the way of hacking an account.

Regarding the DHCP theory - this is true, however I believe that ISPs keep a log of IP addresses being allocated an de-allocated. So as long as we have an IP address and time of access, it is possible to narrow the field down considerably!

Whilst I find (some of) the original pictures that were up to be out of line, I don't think I'd bother hacking your account over it. Not that I'd know how to.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that MAYBE the IM chat shows our login name rather than the name we show on our account. I may be wrong about that though.
