@ Poetic Justice - I think my limit is going to be two grand. The Dell I customized was about $1700. The Mac I wanted was about two grand. I just don't know if I care for a Mac's setup.

I know you said you've had a Toshiba and are wanting to switch up but I have the Toshiba Satellite A505 and I have had it for almost a year and it's never given me any kind of problems. The battery can last up to 8 hours on ECO mode and I have tons of music and pictures on it and even play some games from time to time without any kind of problems.

@ Kryssy - Well, I think I'm going to be getting the screen fixed & purchasing a new battery for my Toshiba, & then purchasing a Sony Mini to take with me on 'road trips' & to work & such, just to keep my Toshiba in better shape.
I do love my Toshiba, & since it has the entertainment package, it's super fast with all of the things I have on there. The only issue is the battery & broken screen, which seems to be less then $250 total to fix at the moment. :] |

you can get a mac book that is the same cost as the repairs you have to get for your toshiba. i forget what it's called but i'll ask my dad tomorrow because i was thinkin about gettin it myself.
