Plasma, LCD's are like laptop screens unless you sit in the right position you just see a black screen.

I have an LCD television and I can see it perfectly even if I am not sitting right in front of it. Right now I am at my computer desk which is diagonal from it and I can see it fine.

we have a Plasma and i love it. LCD is more for gaming which we don't do much of anymore.

We have an LCD because at high altitude a plasma is BAD BAD BAD, and we live in Denver which is a mile above Sea Level.

I agree with Mrs. Pacheco, when i worked at best buy we were taught to never sell a plasma to someone who lived in high altitude. i'm from idaho, so those who live in sun valley cannot have a plasma. buuut, we have a plasma and i love it. very awesome color!

okay, so I ended up buying a Samsung PN50A650 50inch plamsa. I got a great deal on it and couldnt pass it up. It should be here no later then next tuesday. Thanks for all the advice.
