MY FAVE TOY WAS ONE OF THESE TOY TELEPHONES, YO:

I DIDN'T ACTUALLY USE IT TO TALK INTO - I JUST LIKED DIALLING NUMBERS AND PULLING IT ALONG BY THE STRING, LIKE IT WAS A DOG ON A LEAD. IT MADE SUCH A LOVELY JINGLY CHATTERING NOISE! AND THE EYES TOTALLY MOVED UP AND DOWN AS YOU PULLED IT! GOSH, YO - THEY DON'T MAKE TOYS LIKE THOSE ANY MORE! ;D

I had this dollhouse growing up

looking at all the pictures and accessories is bringing back the best memories ;D. I didn't even realize how much crap I had for it lol. I even had the horse stable ;). I hope it's still at my moms house somewhere...if so I'm totally bringing it home for my niece to play with.

Probably one of my favorite toys growing up though was a teddy bear that I got for Christmas that never worked right...he was suppose to talk but the sound box was screwed up, so my parents just told me it was a misfit (like the misfit toys in the Rudolf movie) and I totally went with it and loved it. Also my cabbage patch kid. She's still displayed in my house ;D.

:) My youngest daughter (she's 7 but operates on a lower level of thinking in some areas) LOVES my sylvanian family collection. I lucked out and two of my cousins found theirs recently in their parents houses and sent theirs to her.
She will play with them for hours. She will make them "read" to each other. Which is very exciting to me as prior to Jan she couldnt even read simple Kindergarten sight words and now she is reading almost at the level she ought to be.

omg, i'm getting old cause i can't really remember my toys lol. i know i had a cabbage patch doll, games, legos, and other random dolls. I remember this phone I loved so much. it wasn't like the one lady puck had though i had that too when i was real little. this one talked back and what not. I was upset about it though because I had taken it to school and then we moved and i forgot that it was there so i never got it back. :[

Oh, I also had a goosebumps board game. That was awesome. We wouldn't always play the game itself but make them move around the graveyard.

Lego was a big favourite, and other types of Playmobile. I had Barbies, but Gladiator toys, and Aliens and stuff too. Boggles! Remember boggles?

They also used to make these fold out cardboard things with restickable stickers that you could position that I absolutely adored. The only one I really remember was of an empty stage and a ballerina.

I also remember having a fascination with a toy called the Edwardian Dolls House. I think I wanted one but didn't have it.

My favourite toy was probably my Noddy car, but my pushchair is a close second, it was a disney one with two seats and big enough to put your friends annoying little brother in and not let him out.

i cant really say that i have a favorite childhood toy, because i still am a child really, but i definitely say the Sit N' Spin. funnest toy ever. except for the part where the spinning disk (where you spini it not the part you sit on) in mine popped off when i spun too fast...

if anyone reading this has a big bird big wheel, whether it's worn or in perfect condition, I am EXTREMELY interested in purchasing it. Please email me at
anne.shutt@gmail.com
I am also aware that this toy was recalled in 1990, and only 2000 of the toys were sold, but this makes it a million times harder to find. Thank you and please don't be shy in emailing!
