I really dislike True Blood after the season 2 opener. They have changed the story so much from the books. I won't be watching it anymore.

Has anyone else noticed the differences between the books and the shows? Do you like them, or dislike them? For instance, in the books, the girl Tara (Lafayette's cousin) does not exist. And there are some other things that are different. Like, since Tara doesn't exist, she doesn't sleep with Sam. And Jason, in the books, doesn't get hooked on V-Juice. So, I'm just wondering - what is your personal opinion of the differences between the books and the series? Which do you like better? Do you have a preference at all??
