I thought so too, and never used it for awhile. But its kind of nice, IF you don't have THOSE kind of friends that literally have to tweet pointless shit every five minutes. I have quite a few friends from various place, online and off, and they're all in one nice little place. And sometimes it pays off with interesting links and such that I wouldn't have noticed before.

But my friends don't tweet every second. I've deleted the ones that had pages that looked like:

"10:05 giving dog a bath
10:15:dog is bathed!
10:30 dog still wet!
10::45 time for brunch!"
