"The concerted and biased attempts
to destroy Allegros discoveries have failed. The confirmatory evidence is mounting in his favor. The critics can now raise their voices again. Let us hope that they do, since the matter is not settled, but they should be advised to do so with more careful consideration. This book that many have prized in secret is now available again. It demands the serious consideration of theologians, mythologists, and students of religion. No account of the history of the Church, both West and East, can afford to leave the poor despicable fungus unconsidered, nor the role that entheogens in general have played in the evolution of European civilization." ~ Professor Carl A. prof Ruck is talking about John Allegro's book the sacred mushroom and the cross
Allegro an oxford professor, a language specialist, was hired by the Vatican, and was part of the team that recovered, paced together, and translated the most important religious discovery of the century! John Allegro is was one of the original Dead Sea Scrolls Scholars. Very few have seen the DDS lets alone publish what's actually in them! the video i made with the help of the publisher of the re-release of the book: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N8x46WR12Tw |

lol, thanks :)
evidence coming right up for tons of mushroom in all the old christian churches. let me upload the pictures. many which are in the video on my front page here on bloop. ;) but i been meaning to place some altogether and tidy up things, to make this easier for me :D two min. please |
Estella Post Count: 1779 |
Tell us, Tommy, yo. What is the importance to you personally of the association between mushrooms and churches? Why is this your focus, yo? What meaning does it hold for you?
|
Tommy Decentralized Post Count: 506 |
It's a part of history that I find fascinating
|
~RedFraggle~ Post Count: 2651 |
Photos only show a few old churches. That is not evidence of anything. You need bigger numbers.
|
Tommy Decentralized Post Count: 506 |
The numbers are huge. Especially when you know what to look for. And is suported by the likes of: Jan Irvin, John Allegro, Prof John Rush,
Dr. Charles Grob, Dr. Stanislav Grof, Dr. Roland Griffis, Rick Doblin Ph.D., Prof. Benny Shanon, Dr. Martin Ball, John Lamb Lash,? Dr. Neal Goldsmith, Allen Piper, Wolfgang Bauer, Dr. Marguerte Rigoglioso, Dr. Brian Akers, Dr. David Hillman, Prof. Marlene Dobkin de Rios, Prof. Michael Winkelman, Prof. Tom Roberts, and Peter Webster. and quite a few more experts actually. pictures coming up, still going through the tons of mushrooms in christianity, 100's of pictures of this. you'll see ;) |

like of course Prof. Carl Ruck Boston University
and ignore the question mark after the brilliant John Lamb Lash |

I wrote that comment before looking at the video.
As I've since said, half those pictures aren't even convincingly of mushrooms. And a list of names is not evidence either. |
Tommy Decentralized Post Count: 506 |
The names listed are people, professionals, that have devoted their life's work to this topic. I wouldn't be so quick to throwout professional, many college teachers, all of their life's work. just tossed aside for what? You dont even know anything about any of them. chillout.
I will explain quite a bit in a few minutes here. but I'll tell you right now, if you want to make up your mind on something you're not even sure what it is, make your mind up so fast. it's a mistake! "The concerted and biased attempts to destroy Allegros discoveries have failed. The confirmatory evidence is mounting in his favor. The critics can now raise their voices again. I'm not throwing them out. I'm just saying they are not EVIDENCE. They are people with opinions (which may or may not be based on evidence). I asked you for evidence.
|
Tommy Decentralized Post Count: 506 |
The evidence is over whelming, which each of those listed, many college prof., have demonstrated with their life's work. books, classes, papers, etc
and that is only a small list I have uploaded 107 pics I am naming some of them now, and will explain a couple of things. You asked, and I said it will take time. For just this small little clue. (and now i have to leave, lol but should be back n 30 mins. and then get back to the pics and text. BBL) meanwhile try going to gnosticmedia.com watch that video on the front page. and or look up some of the names I listed ;) and or check out that allegro link i left entheogens have been used in every religion, in every culture, including early christianity. The Christians used to be a lot funner, especially with the psychoactive beer Gruit ;) I'll be back shortly |
~RedFraggle~ Post Count: 2651 |
OK, so I only watched to 1 min 28 secs as my computer was being slow, but half those pictures aren't even convincingly of mushrooms (one of them looks extremely like oranges!)... they could be anything - fruit, flowers. Only a very few of them actually looked like mushrooms. And so what anyway? Perhaps mushrooms (ordinary mushrooms, like the ones we eat) were just quite plentiful in the area at the time, and a commonly consumed food. Nothing more than that can be concluded from those pictures.
You're doing what all conspiracy theorists do... taking nothing and adding it up to come to some ridiculous conclusion, which is in no way supported by any real evidence. (I'm assuming that you're implying that they were all imaginging things as a result of taking magic mushrooms, but I could be wrong) |
Tommy Decentralized Post Count: 506 |
the video is for a book by Prof John Allegro. He explains what all of the picture represent and cane from, etc in his book. same title of the video John Allegro was one of the original scholars hired by the Vatican to translate, recover, one of the most important religious discoveries of the century. The Dead Sea Scrolls. Only Allegro and a few others publish what is in them.
Please step back, do not make up your mind about something your really don't know what is going on with, yet. Let this sink in, for I have not even begun to explain anything at all. slow down.... I am gather some pictures, I will post them, name them (as best as possible) and I'll explain what's going on. but you have to wait. hold your horses. stop being so.... you,lol kidding. relax, chillout for a min. This is going to take me a while. I'll make it thural seeing how i have to hold your hand. TEASING 15-20 min please :D |
~RedFraggle~ Post Count: 2651 |
What does "thural" mean? ;D

sorry it took so long, had to run a bunch of errands, thoroughly ;)
I put it all in an entry: http://www.bloopdiary.com/tommydecentralized/the-role-of-psychedelics-in-the-evolution-of-mankind (with videos that go deep into it) But I'll post what I can in here.... How fast evolution is, for different species, is measured in Darwins. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6XgeSi1EGkU Before we were homo-sapiens. Our ancestors had a boost in Darwins. A rapid boost, their brains got larger, they got smarter. The question is why? The answer lies in a change of diet. "The writer Carmen Hillier speculated that hallucinogenic mushrooms may have a history that dates back as far as 1 million years ago, originating in East Africa. He suggests that early hominids such as Australopithecus africanus, Australopithecus boisei, and the omnivorous Homo habilis expanded their original diets of fruit and small animals to include underground roots, tubers, and corns. Terence McKenna claims that at this particular time, early hominids gathered psilocybin mushrooms off the African grasslands and ate them as part of their diet. He suggests that the psilocybin-containing mushrooms that were thought to have grown on the grasslands at that time were the Panaeolus species and Stropharia cubensis, also called Psilocybe cubensis, which is a famous "Magic Mushroom" widely distributed back in the late 1900's, but arent in, in the 2000's." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psilocybin_mushrooms The Role of Psychedelics in The Evolution of Mankind: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vUgAYUzdzGA A problem arose within the tribe. Questions were asked. Answers unknown. The shaman takes a substance, in order to change his perception. To alter his mind. The shaman can now see the problem from another perspective. An answer to his problem has now become clear to him. For he was not only able to see the problem from another perspective in accessing the "divine knowledge" indeed, he was also able to obtain an opening in creative thinking. The shaman priest shares his mystical divine experience in communicating with the gods, and or dead ancestors, to obtain this outside perspective, with the tribe. This same process happens to us all, every night when we sleep- dream - hallucinate. We sleep on our own problems, we access the hallucinogens within our own brain, we use the divine drug in our sleep, and often awake knowing an answer to our own problems. We are able to change our perception in viewing the problem, by using a substance, a drug, an hallucinogen. We "slept on it" By our ancestors introducing these chemicals into their diet. The tribe that ate the mushrooms, became smarter via having their 3rd eye chakra blown wide open. The psilocybin mushroom in small doses increases acute vision to make a better hunter gather, it also increases the sex drive, for safety in numbers. And in large doses one acquires knowledge by being able to view life from a different perspective. If one sees visions, hallucinations, now this can be done via sleep deprivation, starvation, cannibalism, sweat lodges, trances, tribal music and dance, or even meditation as some claim. It's still the drug that allows one to achieve that universal Christ state of enlightenment. Whether it was done with the natural drugs (4 LSD like compounds) (DMT) in ones chemical mind/brain, or taken from an outer source (magic mushroom- psilocybin, ayahuasca, amanita muscaria, or drinking brain juice, etc the list of enthogens is very long.), it's still a drug. Jesus/Krishna/Horus/Buddha, etc These are not just merely Solar deities alone, that pop up all throughout our past in every culture, or perhaps a mistaken identity of an historical figure. Listening to someone talk about enlightenment, and gazing at the stars, and realizing the importance of the Sun, and our movement around it- for giving a sense of time, which equates to a rather purpose. One doesn't get the spiritual experiences and connection with astrotheology, the rain and sun that brings life, and or mistaken teacher's identities alone. One can only achieve that sate by using what the chemical universe has provided for us naturally- Hallucinogens -within us, and our plant counter parts in life. Hallucinogens. was Jesus a Mushroom? (Prof. John Rush interview) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7M6IPDbw3Lk Everyone knows that christianity and Judaism are tied together. Judaism came from Jewish mysticism and the Kabbalah, these old pagan practices came from the Egyptians, the druids, and the Sumerians. But the Jews did redefine the Kabbalah with the 22 Hebrew letters. Obviously the forbidden fruit that gave mankind knowledge was the mushroom, as is depicted in some of the most earliest writings and cave drawings known to man. In the biblical story of Jacob, Jacob lays his head down on a rock (The shaman like Priest, are the, messengers. They took the entheogens to communicate with God. Such as Moses and his burning bush (the amanita muscaria) The Priest don't always share the secrets. So a type of code is spoken. In the case with Jacob, rock, or stone, is referencing to something that the stoners should be very familiar with, an entheogen.) and has visions of angels going up and down ladders, or stairways, to heaven. These types of hallucinogenic mystical experiences have been recreated by scientist such as; Rick Doblin, Ph.D., http://www.maps.org/ and Dr. Rick Strassman; THE SPIRIT MOLECULE weaves an account of Dr. Rick Strassman's groundbreaking DMT research through a multifaceted approach to this intriguing hallucinogen found in the human brain and hundreds of plants. Utilizing interviews with a variety of experts to explain their thoughts and experiences with DMT within their respective fields, and discussions with Strassmans research volunteers brings to life the awesome effects of this compound, and far-reaching theories regarding its role in human consciousness . Several themes explored include possible roles for endogenous DMT; its theoretical role in near-death and birth experiences, alien-abduction experiences; and the uncanny similarities in Biblical prophetic texts describing DMT-like experiences. Our expert contributors offer a comprehensive collection of information, opinions, and speculation about indigenous use of DMT, the history and future of psychedelic research, and current DMT research. All this, to help us understand the nature of the DMT experience, and its role in human society and evolution. The subtle combination of science, spirituality, and philosophy within the films approach sheds light on an array of ideas that could considerably alter the way humans understand the universe and their relationship to it. http://www.thespiritmolecule.com THE SPIRIT MOLECULE: Follow links for all five parts: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mx5PI93bDyY Ego Death - Rick Doblin: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8tQKbMYFFJY A church doorway is the mushroom: Story of Creation. I'm afraid I have bigger things going on right now, so this will probably be my last reply. But as I've already said, half those pictures don't even look convincingly like mushrooms! Most of them could be any fruit or flower. And the doorways etc probably have far more to do with the general architectural style of the time than mushrooms!
And even the ones that DO look like mushrooms... so what? These are pictures/sculptures produced many many many years after Christ walked the world... they are only images produced from the minds of artists. They are not evidence of actual events. And one final BIG flaw in your ridiculous argument... when people have drug induced hallucinations, they do not all have the same one! (And such hallucinations/delusions generally don't follow logical chronological order like the story of Christ does) More than one person saw Christ, more than one person wrote about him. There's no way that magic mushrooms can cause a whole lot of people to experience the EXACT same hallucination/delusion. Anyway, while your insane conspiracy theory is somewhat amusing, your extremely poor spelling and grammar (I mean, made up words like 'thural'?!?) doesn't help your credibility! |
