I regret who I gave it up too. This guy was a total asshole. We dated for a couple months, had sex, then he started dating this other girl who ended up being my best friend and getting her pregnant and leaving her! Now he has 3 kids by 3 different girls, and a 4th one on the way by another girl. He is a man whore. But I was only his 4th, so at least he hadn't become a total whore when we slept together. But as far as waiting until marriage I don't regret bc I have a daughter that wouldn't be here if I did wait, and I wouldn't trade her for anything!!

16 is the age of consent for sex in most states here as well. [some its 15 i think!]
But being over 18 and making the sex with someone under 18 = no no ;D

Then what is the point of having the age as 16 for some but not for others? That means you can have sex with your partner for two years, but then when they hit nineteen its suddenly illegal, the people who make these laws must have very little between their ears.

Well its not illegal, like anyone can arrest you for it.

But like, the parents of the underage person can press charges.
I'd assume they'd also look at the fact that they've been together for that length of time.

in my state as long as you are 16 youre good. its the age of consent and they recently changed the law so its also the age that you can have sex with someone over 18 i believe.

I think 18 is the "legal" age, but I also think there are "age ratios" they go by. Like 16 year olds are legal if the person is under 20, for instance. (I don't know if thats the actual law, but I know it's something along those lines:P.)

I have a friend who is my age (23!) and he thinks it's perfectly OK to fuck a 16 year old, because "it's legal." But it's also perfectly legal to fuck your best friend's mum... doesn't mean you do it! And doesn't mean it's not immoral. In some countries it is legal to screw dogs! It doesn't mean you do so on entering the country!! ;D
