It has been my experience that Canadians just don't notice when they say it, and thus don't believe it is said as much as it truly is.
|

Not true, I say it a lot. But Americans still think we say it a lot more than we do.
|
Mary Magdelene Post Count: 506 |
Not true, either. We just like making fun of you for saying it.

Very true. xD

YAY FOR CANADA!
Yay for snow! Yay for riding a polar bear to work/school! Yay for living in igloos! and Yay for TIM HORTON'S COFFEE! Mmm. Oh, and may I see, even though I'm only 14, I despise Stephen Harper. I don't know why. Just form what I've heard and stuff. I.AM.CANADIAN. Damn that was cheesy eh? :) |

We get Tim Hortons in the UK. But not proper Tim Hortons, just a corner of some Spar stores, with self serve coffee (which tastes pretty like the real thing) and tea, and those amazing donuts.

You're not alone in hating Stephen Harper. If you're in Ontario did you get the info about harmonized taxes that McGuinty decided was a great idea? My mom rants about it everytime I call her. Really annoying.

usually when the "good" weed is mentioned they are referring to the areas mainly up in Alberta & BC. |

I love Canada. I mean, where would America be if it didn't have Canada to clean up it's messes! ;D

I absolutely loved Canada when I went there a few years ago - went to Vancouver and it was so beautiful there, plus it was really sunny and warm as it was during the summer. I would absolutely love to return one day! I definitely shall ♥

I've never been to Canada. From what I can gather, Canada is full of tough people who think that -30 degrees is t-shirt weather. And they say 'eh' a lot. This has been proven by watching Ice Road Truckers and South Park. Oh, and 'aboot' too ;D
|
Ashley Winter Post Count: 63 |
Ahh! -30 degrees is FREEZING! I don't know which Canadians you're talking about!
|
Acid Fairy Post Count: 1849 |
Haha I know, it's just whenever we mention out -5 degree weather, the Canadians are out in force calling us all weaklings ;D
|
seasongster Post Count: 58 |
that's because it's TRUE! ;D i'm totally out in a tshirt and jeans when it's -5˚C. my neighbours think i'm crazy, though.
part of the reason americans think we're so tough is the temperature conversion, though. i can be all 'omg it's fifteen degrees and GORGEOUS out right now! yay flip flop weather!' and my american friends go 'holy shit, that's way below freezing and you're OUTSIDE IN FLIPFLOPS?!' |

Gotta love a school system that refuses to teach the metric system alongside their own system, as if somehow the U.S. measurement system is superior (HA!)[I'm American and I HATE our measurement system].
