this was my first tat. i was 20 and knew i wanted a tat but didnt know how i wanted it. i had an idea but really was clueless so one random day i got off of work and went to the tattoo parlor. and left with this. it is obviously on the back of my neck it says "Boricua" (boricua is another term for puerto rican) and the puerto rican flag is inside of it. (i was soooo scared that tattoo artist would mess up tattoo boricua on me and give me a cuban flag haha. so i brought my PR flag bracelet and told him please dont mess this up.)



this is my second tattoo i was 21 when i got this. it is two lilies on one stem. i got this because my best friend at the time liliana (lily) had been in a car accident and literally was at deaths door. she spent another year in the hospital recovering. so after he accident i got this.



these are my last 2. i got this the day before i PCSed to ft hood tx. my first duty station in the army. i went with my brothers. i wanted something that represented my time in the army as well as something that had nothing to do with the army so i got my last name since thats what i was called. that is the first picture. the second picture is chinese for family. i wanted a similar tattoo that my brother got he had his daughters name tattooed where i had my last name tattooed and he had the chinese symbol for daughter where i got family. So that is that. The only thing that sucks is they were supposed to be one tattoo kinda connected. but i couldnt figure out how to connect them and make them look good so it turned into 2 tattoos. so whenever someone asks me how many i have i say i have 3.5 tats. haha.

my next tattoo i want to get something that says Moisesito mi corazoncito (moisesito my little heart...mi corazoncito is also a bachata song by aventura that i love and one day it was on and i was singing to moises and changed the words around.) i want "moisesito mi corazoncito" written in the shape of a heart and 5-7-09 (bday) in side of the heart.

i totally wrote 5-7-09 haha oops. my sons bday is 5-7-08. can u tell im tired and my son is crying for attention?

well if it doesnt mean family the guy that tattooed me pulled a pretty good con cuz i saw it in the chinese-english dictionary he got it from. oh well nothing i can do about it now.

o____O I'll ask my dad. I just looked to see if it was different in Simplified vs. Traditional (which is the one I showed you) but it's the same.... It might be another word for family but the one used most often is 家.

xD Ok it CAN mean family but it's not the one that most Chinese ppl are going to give you. Really that character goes more w/ one's surname, not family. For it to completely mean family, you'd have to put the 家 in front of it. ^__^ My advice for next time if you're gonna get an Asian character tattoo, ask someone who speaks the language 1st just to double check. It can be in the dictionary but you have to know the context w/ it as well. ^___^

Yes, a star. How original, right? I don't care ;). I got it when I was 18. I was a few months away from graduating highschool and starting university and to me, it represented "shooting" off onto a new adventure. Plus, I got it on my mom's 50th birthday. My mom, sister-in-law, and I all got tattoo's that day. And, if you know anything about me, you know that I love stars.

REALLY shitty quality, because it was taken with my crap cam the day after I got it done when I was 16 (going on 4 years ago X.X)



I have another (or two) tattos. The pictures aren't so appropriate. They're on the front part of my hips... two big stars. Awesome work from the tattoo artist, got it done in December. Love it :)

Lol when I went to New York my Aunt told me of someone in our family who had his arms all tattooed up when he was young and now he is an OLD MAN and still has them, he always wears long sleeves to hide them.

It's on my right calf, and the pictures blurry because i took it myself on the back of my leg with my camera phone a year ago

It was done when I was on my honeymoon, so it symbolises a time of change for me. It's also something me and my best friend have together, we call each other moose. And lastly if you have ever watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail, at the beginning in the captions it mentions "the moose is a majestic creature" and I really think they are, and Simon makes me feel like royalty at times. And they're my favourite animal!

I have four tattoos

The first tattoo I got 2 days after I turned 18 for my aunt that had passed away a year before.

We are very irish hence the shamrock and those are her initials.

My second tattoo i got when my sister got her tattoo for our aunt that passed away for fun. Eventually I want to get 2 more butterflies growing in size up my spine.


My 3rd tattoo is on my foot and it hurt a ton. This is for another aunt that passed away, this is her birth flower and from a picture that I took in her backyard the last time I saw her before she passed away. My sister and I have the same one.

this is probably my favorite because i love cupcakes. cupcakes remind me of my childhood and you can never be unhappy when you have a cupcake. therefore i always have a cupcake to brighten my life. haha, i love it.

I have 3 but don't have the pictures to post yet. My first one I got when I was 21. It's a butterfly on my right shoulder. Its very pretty and the guy did a great job on it. My second one I got for my 25th birthday and it's 4 stars on my right foot. My third I got for my 26th birthday and it's an outline of 3 stars behind my left ear. I love it.

I had a plan to get a tattoo for every birthday from 25-30... but I can't get one for my birthday this year because I got pregnant lol. But I plan on getting my sons name and this babys name on each ankle.

I have 3 but I only have a picutre of one. I drew the daisy and found an artist willing to take on my drawing. lol.
